We are delighted to welcome Dr. Kaumudibikash Goswami to the Quantum Computing Research Center at Hon Hai Research Institute (HHRI) as a Senior Researcher!

Kaumudibikash received his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Queensland, Australia, and holds a Master of Technology in Optical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST). His research focuses on several frontier areas of quantum science, including quantum non-Markovianity, indefinite causal order, quantum communication and information theory, and quantum optics.

Before joining HHRI, Kaumudibikash accumulated extensive academic and research experience in quantum science and technology:

  • Strong Academic Background: He earned his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Queensland, where he received the prestigious Dean's Award for Outstanding HDR Thesis in 2021, recognizing the excellence of his doctoral research.

  • Extensive International Research Experience: He previously served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Hong Kong and as a Scientist at the Raman Research Institute in India, gaining valuable research experience across international institutions.

  • Expertise in Frontier Quantum Research: His research interests span non-Markovian effects in open quantum systems, indefinite causal order, quantum communication and information theory, and quantum optics, contributing to the advancement of fundamental quantum science.

We look forward to Kaumudibikash bringing his expertise in quantum information theory and fundamental quantum physics to HHRI, further strengthening our research capabilities and driving innovation in quantum computing and emerging quantum technologies.

A warm welcome to Kaumudibikash as he joins our research team!
